WHAT IS OCKYSEASON?
There's a common misconception that theres only one time of year where the grind is necessary. Another where the grind has one specific look. Thats far from the truth.
Many of us live an ordinary life. However our daily grind is constantly overlooked. Maybe we work from home. Maybe we aren't in the gym. Maybe our daily grind doesn't match the collective.
When I started saying "Its Ockyseason" ,it wasn't because I was trying to start a brand. It was because I wanted my grind that day to be noticed. Isn't that what we all want? Recognition?
It didn't take long for remnants of Ockyseason to show through out my life and my personality. I started growing that part of my brain that breaks barriers, and fights through adversity. The part thats responsible for creating and cultivating that burning desire.
Now does that sound like a super power you want to use only once year? Instead Ockyseason comes in phases.
January comes around and we all want to partake in growth. Our desires start to pour onto paper as we create new years resolutions. You know what else starts growing, that fire inside of us. Things start ''Heating Up".
Of course when May comes around and we start thinking about summer. Planning our vacations. Buying new fits. The basic principle of So Icy Summer is to be seen. To be recognized for keeping up with your goals for as long as we did. To relax and cool down from the fire within.
I think we're all a bit guilty of engaging in the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Its easy to be hypnotized by summers fleeting nostalgia.
At some point that Ocky part of our brains sends us a reminder. "Winter Is Coming".
The Winter Arc is the most powerful of all the phases of Ockyseason. That fire has one last chance to burn bright again before the year is over.
The character you've developed has one last chance to prove itself before you reject it or evolve it. Now is the time to make real the promises you made to yourself.
When you believe this. When you choose, it becomes more than a brand. More than a motto. It becomes a lifestyle.
Every piece of clothing we drop reflects these moments.
Oversized. Washed black. Minimal branding. High standards.

You wear it to remind yourself.
